In the Centre of the Narrow Seas
About the artwork
„For the visitors the sculpture becomes a guiding sign. I have noticed that the Europe is surrounded by a number of narrow seas. The letters carved in stone indicate four seas: The North Sea (in German), the Baltic Sea (in Lithuanian), The Black Sea (in Ukrainian) and the Adriatic Sea (in Italian); next to the name – a fish from each sea.“
