About the artwork
Telling about her sculpture, Myrna Orsini recalls: „while listening to the song lyrics from the musical Violinist on the Roof, the image, which later came to be the form of Sunrise/Sunset, appeared. Like the song, the sculpture shows the flow of the days of our life and the continuity of our existence through our descendents and the works we leave behind.“
