If we asked ourselves, When is the best time to spend on yourself, on special moments of calm and discovery?, we definitely would know the answer: that time is NOW. The new video reveals the harmony between nature and art, the existence of the human being in it. It is an invitation to take a different kind of look at Europos Parkas: a few spellbinding minutes that will transport you into the marvellous world of art and nature and reveal the beauty of the moment.
Europos Parkas is a museum that stands out both in its collection, its landscape, and its unique aura. Magdalena Abakanowicz, the famous artist has said: ‘Europos Parkas is the place where the art and the people of the world meet.’

Europos Parkas, an open-air modern and contemporary art museum, was founded in 1991 by Gintaras Karosas, a sculptor and the author of the entire artistic landscape of the museum. Back in 1987, at the age of nineteen, he found the right place for the park near Vilnius, then an abandoned forest, and built the first sculpture marking the beginning of Europos Parkas in one of its first clearings 1991.

Europos Parkas is the first NGO museum in Lithuania, its artistic landscape spanning a territory of 55 hectares showcasing more than a hundred artwork by artists from different countries around the world. Here, the language of art is used to give meaning to the geographical centre of the continent of Europe as determined by the French National Geographic Institute.

Europos Parkas is being developed as a uniform, harmonious ensemble of nature and art. The expressive relief of the park with its hills and hollows and small ponds form an inseparable whole with the artwork. The video was developed within the framework of ‘A Different Look at the World of Art and Nature at Europos Parkas’, a project funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.

Let us embark on a special journey around Europos Parkas, let us get to know both the art and the nature that surrounds it, discover the connection between human creative work and nature, and listen.
